| Well, things have changed yet again. First of all, I'm married now. Second of all, two days before I got married, I got a call from the NRPS and they offered me a spot back in the Constable selection process again. So, the recruiter is finishing my background check right now and then hopefully I'll be in as a constable. Alison and I are meeting with him at our place next Monday and then he is going to talk to all of my neighbors after that. It should be interesting since half of my neighbors smoke pot. I can just see the look on their faces when a cop is knocking on their doors. Good times. | | |

| Well, plans seem to have changed again. We just picked up the keys for our apartment in Strathroy and started to clean it today when I got a phone call. The Sgt. from NRPS called again and offered me a chance to interview for a special constable position in St. Catharines. He was talking with a Staff Sgt. and passed along my file and resume and now I have an interview on May 30th. My life is a whirlwind at the moment. The interview is on Wednesday and my wedding is on Saturday. It looks like a busy week for me. At least my bachelor's party is this weekend so I can kick back on the golf course and hang with the boys. Awesome. | | |
| Well, it appears that I have been taken out of the hiring process with Niagara Region. After talking with the psychologist she found me to be disorganized and therefore not suitable for the department. This confuses me because she didn't once talk about organization skills. She told me that I passed the written tests with flying colors but yet I'm not organized enough for Niagara. The Sgt. was pretty upset too because they were really looking forward to me coming in during July. Stupid psychologist. I thought it was pretty strange too that when I brought up that I was Christian, she grilled me for 20 minutes about my views on homosexuality and then abruptly ended the interview. So now I have to wait a year to reapply with Niagara and we aren't moving to St. Catharines anymore. Grrrr. The good thing is that I'm going out for beer and wings with my Dad tonight when Alison is having a bridal shower at my house. | | |
| I had my final psych interview yesterday. I'm pretty sure that it went well. All we talked about was personal stuff like family life and when the last time I lost my temper and punched a wall. She didn't believe me that I had never punched a wall before. Oh well. The sgt. told me to be there early because she marks on what time you get there. I was there 15 minutes early and ended up waiting because she was late. Boo that. All that has to happen yet is for the NRPS to finish my background check. Say some nice things about me if you end up getting a call. They will probably end up calling all of my former roommates.
